295 is a route that runs between Epping Station and North Epping. It runs in a loop in North Epping.
History[]
It was originally 547, operated by North & Western Bus Lines. 547 was passed to Sydney Buses in 1999 along with other North & Western routes. It was renumbered to 295 in the early 2000s.
It originally ran between Macquarie Park and North Epping, until it was truncated to Macquarie Centre as a result of network review of Region 7, with effect from October 2009.
Despite the popularity of people using the 295 to travel between Epping Station and Macquarie Center, the route was shortened to run between Epping Station and North Epping from the 4th of June, 2017. Commuters travelling from North Epping to Macquarie Park are now required to alight at Epping and catch either route 288, 291 or M54.
